Bell Gardens is a small city in southeast Los Angeles County, among the neighbouring communities of Downey, Commerce and Bell. It is one of the more densely populated cities in the region. On a map, the land is flat and almost completely covered with a tight grid of small residential blocks.
The Rio Hondo channel and major roads mark parts of the city's edges, while wide streets like Florence Avenue cross it. Interstate 5 and Interstate 710 run nearby. The city is also home to the Bicycle Hotel & Casino, one of its best-known businesses, which occupies one of the larger blocks on the map.
