Belmont Hill roads
On the northern slopes the streets curve with the contours rather than running straight. At print scale this gives the upper town a softer, flowing texture.

Mapa
Belmont Map Poster & Print
Belmont is a small town in Middlesex County, directly west of Cambridge and bordered by Arlington, Lexington, Waltham and Watertown. The terrain decides a lot about its map. The northern part climbs Belmont Hill, where the roads bend and wind to follow the slope. The flatter ground to the south carries a tighter network of streets around the commercial squares.
The commuter rail line to Boston runs through the town and links Belmont Center with Waverley Square. Route 2 passes along the northern edge. Between these corridors sit neighbourhoods of mostly older houses, with conservation land around Beaver Brook and the grounds of McLean Hospital adding large green areas.
A Belmont map poster shows how closely a town can sit to a major city and still keep its own shape. On paper you can see where the street pattern relaxes as it moves up the hill and where it tightens again near the squares. The town edges blend straight into its neighbours, so the choice of frame is part of the design.

Rail line and squares
The commuter rail line cuts across the town. Belmont Center and Waverley Square sit along it as small, denser clusters of streets.
Open green land
Beaver Brook Reservation and the large McLean grounds show as broad open spaces. They give the dense residential grid room to breathe.

Zašto Belmont
Mapa koja nešto znači
Belmont is often the place people move to for school years, a first family home or a quieter life close to Boston. A map of it marks that chapter without being too literal.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, so it is easy to add a street name or the year you arrived. Paper and Classic black and white both suit the town's older character.
