Mapa
Bloomingdale Map Poster & Print
Bloomingdale is a village in northern DuPage County, roughly 25 miles west of downtown Chicago. From above, its most noticeable feature is the way residential streets curve and branch between a few strong main roads. Lake Street, US Route 20, crosses the village on a long diagonal, and Army Trail Road runs east to west. Together they give the soft street pattern a firm frame.
Between those roads, subdivisions built mostly in the later twentieth century fill the map with loops, crescents and cul-de-sacs. Golf courses, parks and stormwater ponds appear as open shapes among the houses. A small older core of straighter streets recalls the village that stood here long before the suburbs arrived.
A Bloomingdale map poster suits anyone who has made a home among those curving streets. In black lines on white, the pattern becomes almost ornamental. Yet every loop is recognisable to the people who drive it daily, so the map is both decorative and personal.

Loops and crescents
Most neighbourhoods are laid out in gentle curves and dead-end courts. In print this suburban pattern turns into a delicate, lace-like texture.
Open green shapes
Golf courses, parks and ponds break the street network into distinct pockets. They leave clean white areas that give the composition room to breathe.
