Jianghan Plain setting
The town sits on one of central China's great alluvial plains, so the map spreads out evenly in every direction with almost no relief.

Buhe Map Poster
Buhe lies in the south of Hubei province, on the broad Jianghan Plain that the Yangtze and Han rivers built up over thousands of years. From above, the land is almost completely flat. The built-up area sits among a patchwork of rectangular fields, drainage channels and small ponds, with few hills or ridges to shape it.
The town grew along the roads that cross this farmland, so its streets tend to follow straight lines and right angles. Near the centre the blocks are denser, with shops and housing close together. Further out they give way to village clusters and farm plots. Waterways run through much of the surrounding land. On a black-and-white print they appear as fine, repeated strokes.
A Buhe map poster shows a kind of place that most maps skip: a working plain town where water and cultivation set the pattern more than any single monument does. The lines are simple, and they repeat in a quiet rhythm that suits a clean, minimal print.

Channels and ponds
Irrigation ditches and small ponds are scattered across the surrounding fields and add a fine, broken texture around the edges of the streets.
Straight road spines
The main roads run in long straight lines across the plain, and the town's denser centre gathers where they meet.

Zašto Buhe
Mapa koja nešto znači
For people who grew up in Buhe or still have family there, this map records the everyday geometry of home: the roads, the fields past the last houses, the water that is never far away. It is a personal place, drawn plainly.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. Then pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to the warmer Sand, so the print fits the room it will hang in.
