Mapa
Burlingame Map Poster & Print
Burlingame is a city in San Mateo County, California, on the San Francisco Peninsula just south of San Francisco International Airport. It rises from the flat bayfront in the east to wooded hills in the west. The city is known for its trees, with long rows of eucalyptus along El Camino Real and a carefully kept urban forest.
The map reads in parallel bands. Along the bay, a strip of hotels and offices sits between the shoreline and U.S. 101. Inland, the Caltrain line and El Camino Real run side by side through the city and frame a compact downtown around Burlingame Avenue. To the west, residential streets curve more as they climb into the hills.
Burlingame's historic railway station, one of the earliest buildings in the Mission Revival style, marks the point where downtown meets the tracks. A Burlingame map poster brings these layers together: the edge of the bay, the transport corridor, the walkable centre and the soft curves of the hill neighbourhoods above them, all on a single sheet.
