Lake Champlain shore
The lake fills the western side of the map, and its irregular shoreline, with small bays and piers, gives the composition a strong natural edge.

Mapa
Burlington Map Poster & Print
Burlington is Vermont's largest city, and its map is shaped by a single slope. Streets run in a loose grid from the university on the hill down to the eastern shore of Lake Champlain, where the land stops and the lake takes over a large part of the frame. Across the water lie the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
At the centre of downtown is the Church Street Marketplace, a pedestrian street that forms the city's social spine. Up the hill, the University of Vermont and its green spaces occupy a large block of the eastern side. Along the shore, a waterfront path follows the lake northward, and the Winooski River curves along the city's northern edge.
A Burlington map poster captures that simple, clear arrangement: the grid, the rising campus, the river and a broad expanse of water that gives the design room to breathe. In black and white the lake becomes a calm, empty field against the dense street pattern, making the city's position on the shore immediately legible.
