Mapa
Center Point Map Poster & Print
Center Point lies northeast of Birmingham in the Appalachian foothills, where parallel ridges and valleys run southwest to northeast. The terrain shapes the map. Main roads follow the valley floors, and residential streets curl into cul-de-sacs and loops wherever the land starts to climb.
The result is a pattern typical of postwar American suburbs, drawn over a folded landscape. Long commercial arteries cross the center, and quiet neighborhoods branch off them in organic shapes. A Center Point map poster turns this contrast between straight corridors and winding lanes into a balanced, textured composition.
For decades Center Point was an unincorporated community before becoming a city in its own right in the early 2000s. It remains closely tied to Birmingham, and many residents travel between the two every day along routes that are easy to follow on the map.

Suburban loops
Residential areas are full of curving streets, crescents and dead ends. At close range these shapes form delicate, almost botanical patterns across the print.
Arterial corridors
A few major roads carry traffic toward Birmingham and neighboring suburbs. Their long, confident lines tie the composition together and anchor the town's commercial center.
