The airport
Buffalo Niagara International Airport occupies a large area of the town. Its crossing runways and taxiways are some of the boldest, most geometric forms on the print.

Mapa
Cheektowaga Map Poster & Print
Cheektowaga is a large town in Erie County, directly east of the city of Buffalo in western New York. From above it looks like the city simply carried on: blocks of houses on straight streets reach out from the Buffalo border, then give way to wider, curving suburban roads further east. The overall effect is a close, even pattern covering nearly the whole frame.
Major roads cut across that pattern. The New York State Thruway and the Kensington Expressway both pass through the town, and broad arterials such as Union Road and Harlem Road run north-south between neighbourhoods. Buffalo Niagara International Airport sits within Cheektowaga, and its runways form the largest clean shapes on the map. The Walden Galleria, the region's biggest shopping mall, is also here, near the Thruway.
A Cheektowaga map poster makes the logic of the place clear: an inner grid connected to Buffalo, expressways arranged around it, and the airport opening a large empty space in the street pattern. The town has deep Polish-American roots, and many of its streets and parishes still reflect that heritage.

Expressway lines
The Thruway and the Kensington Expressway sweep through Cheektowaga with long, smooth curves and interchanges, cutting cleanly across the finer grid of residential streets.
The Buffalo edge
On the western side, Cheektowaga's streets run straight into those of Buffalo, and the tight city-style blocks there contrast with the looser suburban layout further east.

Zašto Cheektowaga
Mapa koja nešto znači
For many families in western New York, Cheektowaga is where they grew up, bought a first house or went to church every Sunday. A map of the town is a grounded, personal thing to hang, with nothing on it except the streets people actually know.
Add a street name, a surname or a year in the title and subtitle, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as a $9 digital download or a printed poster.
