Mapa
Chīrāla Map Poster & Print
Chīrāla lies on the low coastal plain of Andhra Pradesh, a few kilometres inland from the Bay of Bengal. From above, the town grows along its main road and the railway line that runs down this coast. The streets are dense and irregular at the centre, then thin out into paddy fields, palm groves and the sandy strip that leads toward the beach.
For generations Chīrāla has been known for handloom weaving. Its cotton and silk saris are sold across South India, and weaving households have long been part of the town's residential lanes. The map does not show looms, but the fine, crowded street pattern of the older neighbourhoods reflects a town built around home workshops and small trading streets.
A Chīrāla map poster keeps the town, its railway and the coastal plain toward the sea in one frame. Canals and drainage channels cross the flat land in straight lines, and the coastline to the east gives the composition a clear edge. The result is simple and horizontal, true to a landscape that has almost no hills.

Weavers' lanes
The older residential areas are made of narrow, closely packed streets. Printed at high resolution, they turn into a fine texture that contrasts with the open fields around the town.
Toward the coast
East of the town, the land flattens into fields and sand before it reaches the Bay of Bengal. The shoreline gives the map a long, calm boundary.
