Village clusters
Settlements appear as separate knots of lanes and houses joined by a few main roads rather than one continuous urban area, giving the poster a scattered rhythm.

Mapa
Ciampea Map Poster & Print
Ciampea is a district in Bogor Regency, West Java, to the west of the city of Bogor on the fertile lower slopes of the volcanic highlands. Its map shows a web of villages rather than a single town. Winding roads join them, rice fields, gardens and plantations separate them, and denser clusters form where main routes pass through.
Rivers and streams run down from the uplands toward the north, cutting shallow valleys that the roads and settlements follow. Mount Salak rises to the south, and the landscape stays green and heavily cultivated all year. The nearby campus of IPB University at Dramaga has brought many students and staff to live in the surrounding area.
A Ciampea map poster shows the character of peri-urban West Java: irregular clusters of houses, lanes that curve with the land and open green space between them. In black and white the result has an organic, almost hand-drawn quality. It is very different from the rigid grids of planned cities and closer to the way the place actually grew.

River valleys
Streams descending from the highlands cross the district from south to north, and many roads and houses follow their banks and valley floors.
Cultivated land
Rice fields and gardens fill the gaps between villages. They appear as open space on the map, framing the settlements and drawing attention to the curving routes.
