Compact town core
The built-up area forms a tight cluster of streets on the plain. In black and white it becomes a strong, dark centre surrounded by open ground.

Mapa
Dehlorān Map Poster & Print
Dehlorān lies in the south-west of Ilam Province. The last folds of the Zagros meet a wide, dry plain here, close to the border with Iraq. On a map the town is a compact block of streets. Around it the land is bare, crossed by seasonal watercourses and roads that run long distances between settlements.
The Deh Luran plain is well known to archaeologists. Excavations at sites such as Ali Kosh have made it one of the key areas for studying early farming in western Iran. Today the district is also linked to oil and gas activity, and the town serves a wide rural area.
A Dehlorān map poster sets the town against an unusually empty landscape. The streets form a dense, readable core. Beyond it the foothills and dry channels add fine, irregular lines, and the rest of the sheet stays open and quiet.

Seasonal watercourses
Dry channels carve across the plain from the hills. On the print they show as branching lines that hint at the landscape's winter rains.
Zagros foothills
To the north-east the ground begins to rise into folded ridges. This gives the edge of the map a textured border unlike the flat plain.

Zašto Dehlorān
Mapa koja nešto znači
A map of Dehlorān suits people from Ilam Province and anyone drawn to the archaeology of early farming. The contrast between a small town and a vast, dry landscape makes an unusually strong wall piece.
