Denton Map Poster & Print
Denton is a town in Tameside, on the eastern side of Greater Manchester. For much of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries it was one of the main centres of hat making in Britain. Its mills and workshops made felt hats for markets around the world. The industry has gone, but it remains a large part of the town's identity.
From above, Denton is dense suburban housing criss-crossed by older main roads that meet in the town centre. The River Tame forms part of its northern boundary, a winding green line along the edge. To the west, the M60 ring road and the start of the M67 form a large interchange. Its loops and slip roads are the most eye-catching shapes on the map.
A Denton map poster shows a town between city and countryside. It has the close-packed streets of a Manchester suburb, the river valley along one side and, further east, the first rise of the Pennine foothills. It suits anyone who knows the route home off the motorway or grew up among its terraced and semi-detached streets.

River Tame
The River Tame winds along the northern edge of Denton. It is a soft, green corridor that contrasts with the dense housing to its south.
Town centre crossroads
Older main roads meet in the town centre. Their straight lines through the suburban streets trace routes that predate the motorways by centuries.

Zašto Denton
Mapa koja nešto znači
Denton is home to many people who seldom see it on a wall, and a map poster changes that. It works as a housewarming present, a reminder for someone who has moved away, or a nod to the town's hat-making past.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line of your choice, perhaps with a street name or a year. Then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
