Mapa
Dois Irmãos Map Poster & Print
Dois Irmãos lies in Rio Grande do Sul, in the Vale do Sinos region north of Porto Alegre, where the plains begin to rise toward the Serra Gaúcha. The area was settled by German immigrants in the nineteenth century, and that heritage still shapes local architecture, festivals and family names. On a map, the town fills a valley framed by green, wooded slopes.
The centre is organised around a main road through the valley, with side streets branching off and climbing where the terrain allows. Beyond them the land breaks into small farms, forest patches and winding rural lanes. Like its neighbours in the region, the town has a strong footwear and leather industry, and industrial buildings appear among the residential blocks.
A Dois Irmãos map poster shows the town's orderly layout against the irregular hills around it. The contrast between the valley streets and the surrounding countryside makes a calm, balanced image, well suited to people from the town, descendants of the German settlers of the region or anyone who has spent time in the Serra Gaúcha.

Wooded hillsides
Green slopes enclose the town on several sides, and on the map they appear as open space that frames the built area and highlights its shape.
Rural lanes
Outside the centre, narrow roads wind between small farms and forest, a fine network typical of the German-settled colonies of this part of Rio Grande do Sul.
