Ducos is a commune in central-southern Martinique, lying between the island's interior hills and the shallow southern shore of the Bay of Fort-de-France. On a map, it sits where the landscape shifts from rolling ground to low coastal land, and its road network follows that transition from winding rural lanes to more direct routes toward the neighbouring towns.
