Ridge-top streets
Roads run along the high ground and wrap around the hills, so the street network looks like a set of curving arms rather than a grid.

Mapa
Dūrā Map Poster & Print
Dūrā lies in the hills southwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank. From above, the town spreads across a series of ridges and slopes, with roads following the contours and branching into smaller lanes. The built area is continuous in some places and scattered in others, with houses reaching outward along the hilltops.
The surrounding landscape is one of terraced hillsides, olive groves and small valleys, and on a map these appear as fine, curving lines around the town. The main roads link Dūrā to Hebron and to neighbouring villages, and they bend around the hills rather than cutting across them.
A Dūrā map poster shows a town defined by its terrain. The streets curl along the ridges, and the outlines of neighbourhoods follow the natural shape of the hills. Rendered in a single tone, the pattern becomes calm and legible, a personal record of a place that many families carry with them wherever they live.

Link to Hebron

Terraced hillsides
Agricultural land surrounds the town, where olive groves and terraces soften the edges of the built area and fill the valleys between neighbourhoods.
