The transport corridor
Interstate 15, the Legacy Parkway and the rail line run side by side through town. On the poster they read as bold parallel strokes that anchor the whole design.

Mapa
Farmington Map Poster & Print
Farmington sits in Davis County, on the Wasatch Front north of Salt Lake City. Its shape is set by geography. The mountains rise sharply to the east, the marshes and mudflats of the Great Salt Lake spread to the west, and the town fills the narrow strip between them. Major highways and rail lines run north to south through this corridor, and residential streets fan out on the slopes above.
The town is the seat of Davis County and is widely known as the home of Lagoon, a long-running amusement park that is a regional landmark. On a map, the park's footprint sits beside the freeway corridor. Neighbourhoods of curving suburban streets and cul-de-sacs climb toward the foothills, with canyon roads leading up into the range.
A Farmington map poster captures a clear geographic story in a few lines. Parallel transport routes form the spine. Curving residential streets thicken on the bench above. To the west the street network simply stops where the land flattens toward the lake, leaving open space that gives the composition a strong, quiet edge.

Foothill neighbourhoods
East of the corridor, streets curve and loop to follow the slopes of the Wasatch Range. The pattern becomes more organic the higher it climbs toward the mountains.
Toward the lake
West of town, development gives way to wetlands and the shallow margins of the Great Salt Lake. The emptiness on that side of the map contrasts sharply with the streets.

Zašto Farmington
Mapa koja nešto znači
Farmington is a place people settle into for the long term, with mountains behind the house and a lake on the horizon. A map of it suits a family home, a first house on the Wasatch Front, or someone who has moved away and misses the view of the range.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a move-in date or family name, and a coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let the poster match anything from a modern living room to a cabin-style den.
