Folsom Map Poster & Print
Folsom lies in the foothills east of Sacramento, and water organises its map. Folsom Lake spreads its irregular arms to the north, held back by Folsom Dam, and below it the American River continues as Lake Natoma, a narrow reservoir that curls past the historic town. Residential streets fan out on both sides, with U.S. Route 50 crossing the south of the city.
The town grew during the California Gold Rush, and its historic district around Sutter Street keeps the scale of that era. Folsom is also known for Folsom State Prison, made famous far beyond California by Johnny Cash, who recorded his live album there in 1968. The dam, completed in the 1950s, turned the river valley into the lake that now defines the area.
A Folsom map poster brings those elements into one frame: the branching shoreline of the reservoir, the thin line of Lake Natoma and the looping streets of newer neighbourhoods. The contrast between open water and dense suburban curves makes the city read well in any of the styles, especially when printed at a larger size.

Lake Natoma ribbon
Below the dam the river becomes Lake Natoma, a slender body of water that winds past the old town and is lined along much of its length by trails.
Historic Sutter Street
The Gold Rush-era core near the river keeps a compact block pattern, a small grid that contrasts with the curving cul-de-sacs of later subdivisions around it.

Zašto Folsom
Mapa koja nešto znači
Folsom suits people who have lived by the lake, commuted over its bridges or simply like maps where water does most of the drawing. The shoreline alone gives the print a strong silhouette, and the town streets add fine detail around it.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, or you can order a printed poster on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, from partners in more than 30 countries.
