Irrigated fields
Large rectangular plots surround the city on every side. Their boundaries, roads and canals create a precise, repeating pattern that fills the edges of the print.

Guasave Map Poster & Print
Guasave lies in northern Sinaloa, on the coastal plain between the Sierra Madre Occidental and the Gulf of California. The Sinaloa River passes near the city, and the land around it is among the most intensively irrigated farmland in Mexico. From above, the most striking feature is not the city itself but the vast pattern of rectangular fields and canals surrounding it.
The city has a regular grid of streets centred on its plaza and church, with main roads leaving toward Los Mochis, Culiacán and the coast. Guasave is often called the agricultural heart of Mexico, and its economy is closely tied to crops such as maize, beans and vegetables grown in the fields just beyond the last houses.
A Guasave map poster shows how closely the city and its farmland are linked. The urban grid and the field grid continue each other, irrigation canals add long straight lines, and the river's softer curve crosses them. It is a structured, open composition, and a proud one for families whose lives and work are tied to the Sinaloa valley.

Sinaloa River
The river flows across the plain near the city toward the Gulf of California. Its winding course is the only curve in a landscape of straight lines.
City grid
Guasave's streets form a clear, regular grid around the central plaza. On the map, the urban core appears as a dense block set within the fields.
