Mapa
Gulgam Map Poster & Print
Gulgam lies in the north of the Kashmir valley, in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, close to the mountains that ring the valley. The settlement is spread across fairly level land, with homes, lanes and small markets set among fields and orchards. On a map it appears as a loose cluster of built-up areas connected by roads that follow streams and field edges.
The surrounding landscape is defined by high ridges and forested slopes, which rise steeply around this part of the valley. Winters are cold and often snowy, while summers bring green fields and fruit trees. Life here is closely tied to agriculture, and the rhythm of the seasons shapes the land as clearly as the roads do.
A Gulgam map poster captures the character of a northern Kashmiri settlement in simple, precise lines. Roads branch across the valley floor, lanes wind between houses, and waterways add gentle curves. Set against the open ground around it, the place reads as a quiet, human-scaled pattern within a much larger mountain landscape.

Fields and orchards
Cultivated land surrounds and separates the built-up clusters. On the map these open areas create generous space, giving the composition a calm, unhurried rhythm.
Mountain frame
The ridges of the Kashmir valley rise close to Gulgam. Although the poster focuses on streets, the settlement's scattered layout reflects this mountain setting.
