Mapa
Haltom City Map Poster & Print
Haltom City lies in Tarrant County, Texas, immediately north-east of central Fort Worth, and is largely surrounded by neighbouring cities. The map shows a mostly regular pattern of residential blocks and commercial strips, cut through by highways and rail lines and softened by the winding course of creeks with green belts along their banks.
Incorporated in 1932, the city takes its name from G. W. Haltom, a Fort Worth jeweller. It grew quickly in the decades after the Second World War as the Dallas–Fort Worth area expanded, and its streets reflect that period of steady, practical suburban building, with modest homes, local shops and light industry side by side.
A Haltom City map poster turns an everyday suburb into a clear graphic. The straight streets give the design order, the freeways add bold diagonals and curves, and the creek corridors break the pattern in places, so the result is balanced and quietly detailed. It is a fitting portrait of a place many people pass through without noticing.

Creek greenbelts
Creeks wind across the grid with parkland and open space along their banks, leaving pale, meandering gaps that interrupt the straight lines of the streets.
Freeway edges
Major highways and rail lines pass through and around the city, drawing strong lines that link it to downtown Fort Worth and the wider metroplex.
