Dee estuary shore
The western edge of the map opens onto the wide, tidal estuary of the Dee, where marsh and sands replace a sharp coastline and give the poster a soft boundary.

Mapa
Heswall Map Poster & Print
Heswall sits on the western side of the Wirral peninsula, looking across the Dee estuary toward the hills of North Wales. On a map the town divides naturally into two parts: the upper village along the main road on higher ground, and Lower Heswall on the slope that runs down toward the shoreline and the marshes.
Streets in Heswall tend to curve with the terrain rather than follow a grid, and the residential roads are generously spaced, with large gardens and pockets of green. To the west, the land gives way to the estuary, where the edge of the map becomes a broad band of salt marsh and sand rather than a hard coastline.
Heswall Dales, an area of heathland on the slope, is a protected nature reserve, and the shore is part of the Wirral Way and coastal walking routes. A Heswall map poster captures that gentle transition from town to heath to estuary in a single frame.

Heswall Dales
The heathland reserve on the slope shows as an open, unbuilt patch between the curving streets, a pocket of wild ground inside the town.
Upper and Lower Heswall
Roads wind down from the village centre on the ridge to the lower town near the shore, following contours instead of straight lines.
