Old town fabric
The centre is a dense tangle of short lanes and small plots, typical of older Chaoshan towns. On the poster it looks almost like fine lacework.

Mapa
Huicheng Map Poster & Print
Huicheng is the urban centre of Huilai County in the Chaoshan area of eastern Guangdong. On the map, a compact core of narrow lanes and small blocks is surrounded by wider modern roads that push out into the flat land nearby. Waterways and drainage channels cross the plain, and the gaps between built-up areas show farmland that is gradually being filled in.
The Chaoshan region has its own dialect, cuisine and traditions, and county towns like Huicheng are part of that coastal culture, facing the South China Sea. On a map, you see the older, dense settlement pattern next to newer planned grids. The old town's irregular fabric clearly differs from the straighter arterial roads added as the town has grown.
A Huicheng map poster records a town in transition. The contrast is sharp in black and white, with tightly clustered old blocks on one side and broad new avenues on the other. For people from Huilai living elsewhere in China or abroad, it is a precise and personal reminder of home streets that are changing quickly.

New arterial roads
Wide, straight roads circle and cut through the outskirts. They mark recent growth and give the composition a strong geometric frame.
Plain and waterways
Channels and streams run across the flat land around the town. They add thin, winding lines between the blocks and the fields.
