Mapa
Issy-les-Moulineaux Map Poster & Print
Issy-les-Moulineaux borders the southwest corner of Paris, just outside the Boulevard Périphérique. The Seine runs along its western edge, with the Île Saint-Germain lying in the channel, and the town climbs from the flat riverside up onto a slope toward Meudon. The street pattern mixes old village lanes with long, straight modern avenues.
Issy has a notable place in aviation history. In 1908 Henri Farman flew the first one-kilometre closed-circuit flight in Europe from the parade ground at Issy, and the Paris heliport still sits on that ground at the edge of the city. Much of the riverfront, once industrial, now holds offices and media companies.
An Issy-les-Moulineaux map poster shows the meeting point of a capital and its suburbs: the dense Paris grid ending at the ring road, the river curving past the island and a hillside of streets rising to the south. It makes a sharp, city-dense print.

Paris edge
The Boulevard Périphérique and the heliport mark the border with the fifteenth arrondissement, where the tight Paris street pattern meets Issy's own.
Rising slopes
South of the river flats, streets climb toward the Meudon heights in curves and switchbacks, which changes the town's texture from regular to winding.
