Mapa
Jacareí Map Poster & Print
Jacareí sits in the Paraíba Valley of São Paulo state, between the metropolitan area of São Paulo and the city of São José dos Campos. On a map, the most distinctive feature is the Paraíba do Sul River, which loops through the municipality in wide, tight meanders that the streets must work around.
The old centre lies close to the river, with a small grid of streets around its main church and squares. Newer neighbourhoods climb the gentle hills on both banks, laid out in curving subdivisions and long avenues. The Presidente Dutra highway, the main road between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, cuts across the landscape in a long, heavy line.
Jacareí has grown as an industrial and residential city along this corridor, and its shape reflects that combination of river, road and valley. A Jacareí map poster brings those three elements together in a single frame of fine black lines.

Via Dutra
The highway linking São Paulo and Rio runs as a broad diagonal, a strong structural line that separates districts and shows the city's place on the corridor.
Riverside centre
The historic core sits near the water, its compact grid of older streets contrasting with the looser, curving neighbourhoods that spread up the valley slopes.

Zašto Jacareí
Mapa koja nešto znači
Jacareí is often a home between two larger cities, where families settle and commuters return each evening. A map of it acknowledges that the in-between place is the one that matters most, and the river's loops make it a genuinely good composition.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the neighbourhood you grew up in, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download it for $9 or order a printed, optionally framed poster.
