Mapa
Jālna Map Poster & Print
Jālna lies in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, on the Deccan plateau east of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The Kundalika river runs through the city and has long divided it into two parts, old Jālna on one bank and the newer town on the other. On the map the river is a narrow, winding line, with bridges stitching the two halves together.
The city is widely known as a centre of India's seed industry, with many seed companies and research farms based in and around it, and it also has a sizeable steel rolling sector. These industries show up as larger plots and campuses on the outskirts, their broad rectangles distinct from the fine grain of the older bazaar streets.
A Jālna map poster captures this mix of a meandering river, a tightly packed historic core and the highways that leave town toward Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and other district towns. Around the edges, field boundaries and scattered villages add a sparse texture that makes the dense centre stand out even more clearly against the open plateau.

Old town lanes
On the older bank the streets become short and irregular, a dense network of market lanes that contrasts with the straighter roads of later development.
Industrial edges
Seed processing units and steel mills occupy large parcels at the city's margins. They are drawn as broad blocks that frame the residential areas on several sides.
