Mapa
Jishui Map Poster & Print
Jishui lies on the broad plain of eastern Henan, where the land is almost perfectly flat and farmed intensively. From above, the town is a cluster of blocks and streets. Straight roads run out into a grid of fields, and a scatter of villages dots the surrounding countryside. Irrigation channels and small watercourses add faint lines to the landscape.
This part of Henan belongs to the Huang-Huai plain, one of the most important farming regions in China. Wheat and other crops have been grown here for thousands of years. Towns like Jishui serve as local centres for markets, schools and administration, and their built-up area has grown steadily as roads and new housing expand.
A Jishui map poster captures a landscape that looks simple but is full of order. The town sits in the middle, and the grid of fields and roads stretches to the edges. It is a personal piece for anyone with family roots on the Henan plain.

Straight country roads
Long, straight roads run across the plain toward neighbouring towns and villages. On the map they read as clean lines through the agricultural landscape.
Field patterns
Around the town, the regular divisions of farmland create a subtle texture. It is typical of the flat, intensively cultivated Huang-Huai plain.
