Dense old core
At the heart of the town, narrow lanes and small plots sit close together. On the poster they read as a darker knot of fine lines against the lighter streets around them.

Mapa
Kurwai Map Poster & Print
Kurwai is a small town in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh, in the flat farming country of the Malwa plateau. From above, it looks like many Indian market towns. The older centre is a tight cluster of lanes and closely built plots. Newer building thins out along the roads that lead away from it, and fields close in quickly on every side.
The town has a longer political past than its size suggests. Kurwai was the seat of a princely state of the same name, ruled by a line of Nawabs until Indian independence. The map doesn't show this directly, but the dense, irregular core reflects a place that was planned around a court and a market long before modern roads arrived.
A Kurwai map poster keeps things simple. The roads that meet at the centre, the loose ring of newer houses and the edge where streets give way to open country all come through clearly in black and white. It shows a small Indian town's layout honestly, without any decoration.

Roads outward
A few main roads leave the centre and head toward neighbouring towns and villages. They give the map a clear set of spokes that pull the eye from the middle to the edges.
Farmland edge
The built-up area ends quickly, and the plateau's fields begin almost at once. This leaves a lot of empty space around the town, which frames the street pattern well.

Zašto Kurwai
Mapa koja nešto znači
For people with family roots in Kurwai, or who grew up in the Vidisha area, this map is a quiet reminder of a town they know on foot. Its outline is small and recognisable, and very few places carry the name of a former princely state.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, so the poster can mark a birthplace, a family home or a date that matters. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to suit the room it will hang in.
