Mining grounds
Former and working industrial land appears as broad blocks with few streets, surrounded by rail lines. These quiet areas give the map its large-scale structure.

Mapa
Lędziny Map Poster & Print
Lędziny lies in the south of the Upper Silesian industrial region, between Tychy and the Przemsza valley. It does not have a single tight centre. Instead the map shows a looser arrangement of neighbourhoods, blocks of flats and detached houses linked by curving roads, with patches of forest and open land filling the gaps between them.
Coal mining shaped the town through the twentieth century, and the mine grounds, spoil areas and rail sidings remain visible as large, irregular shapes on the map. A hill with a church on its summit rises near the town and is a familiar local landmark, a rare point of height in a mostly gentle landscape.
A Lędziny map poster captures that mix of industry and green space. The street network is uneven and organic rather than planned, so the black lines cluster in some places and open out in others. It is a map that rewards close looking, especially for anyone who knows which estate, which road and which stretch of woodland they call their own.

Scattered neighbourhoods
Housing is spread across several districts rather than one core. Each cluster forms its own small knot of streets, linked by longer roads that wind between them.
Woodland gaps
Stretches of forest and open ground sit between the built-up parts of town, appearing on the poster as calm empty space that balances the denser street patterns.

Zašto Lędziny
Mapa koja nešto znači
For families with roots in Silesian mining, a map of Lędziny is a way of keeping the place close after moving elsewhere. The irregular street pattern is personal: people recognise their own estate and the roads between them almost immediately.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a year that matters, and pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. It is available as a $9 digital download in six sizes or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
