Mapa
Leeudoringstad Map Poster & Print
Leeudoringstad is a small town in the North West province of South Africa, on the open plains of the Highveld. The landscape around it is very flat and largely agricultural, with large fields stretching in every direction and roads and farm tracks running across them in long, straight lines.
The town itself is laid out on a simple grid, a common plan for rural South African towns, with a main street, a railway line and blocks of houses on either side. Townships and newer housing areas sit next to the older grid, each with its own street pattern.
The area is known for grain farming, especially maize. A Leeudoringstad map poster reflects this quiet, open setting: a compact grid in the middle, the railway passing through, and a wide surrounding pattern of fields that gives the composition a spacious and orderly feel.

The railway
A railway line crosses the area, a firm diagonal or straight line that separates parts of the town and connects it to the wider region.
Highveld fields
Around the town, large, flat fields are divided by straight roads, giving the edges of the map a sparse, geometric agricultural pattern.
