Mapa
Margahayukencana Map Poster & Print
Margahayukencana lies on the southwestern side of Bandung in West Java, within Bandung Regency. The name is closely tied to a large planned housing area, and on a map that origin is easy to read. Rows of short, parallel residential streets form regular blocks, set against the more irregular lanes of the older kampung neighbourhoods around them.
The wider setting is the Bandung basin, a broad upland plain ringed by volcanic mountains. Around the district, housing meets the remaining fields and small watercourses that drain toward the Citarum river system. Main roads link it to the city centre and neighbouring suburbs. The result is a map of edges, where planned and unplanned growth sit side by side.
A Margahayukencana map poster rewards a close look. The tight comb of housing streets, the looser web of village lanes and the open spaces between them make a surprisingly intricate pattern, especially in the larger print sizes. It is a fitting keepsake for residents of one of the many communities that make up greater Bandung.

Kampung lanes
Around the planned estate, older neighbourhoods are reached by narrow, winding lanes, which give the map a finer and more irregular texture at its edges.
Basin setting
The district sits on the flat floor of the Bandung basin, where streams and the remaining fields create open shapes among the dense residential areas.
