Mapa
Mbale Map Poster & Print
Mbale is the headquarters of Vihiga County in western Kenya. It lies almost on the equator, in green, rolling country not far from Lake Victoria. The town grew along a main road, and its map shows this clearly. A central strip of shops and offices runs along the road, with smaller roads and paths branching off to homesteads and farms.
Vihiga is one of the most densely populated rural counties in Kenya, and the landscape around Mbale reflects it. Small farm plots, scattered houses and footpaths cover the hills. So the map beyond the town centre is not empty but finely textured, with a network of tracks linking homesteads, schools and markets across the slopes.
A Mbale map poster is a way for people from Vihiga to keep home close, whether they live in Nairobi, elsewhere in Kenya or overseas. A clear central road and a dense web of rural paths make an unusual, detailed composition, and it looks especially good in the Paper and Sand styles.

Rolling farmland
The hills around the town are covered in small farms and homesteads. Together they create a delicate mesh of tracks and footpaths across the rest of the sheet.
Near the equator
Mbale sits less than ten kilometres north of the equator. The coordinates line at the foot of the poster records this detail precisely.

Zašto Mbale
Mapa koja nešto znači
Rural Kenya has a strong pull on those who grew up there, and Mbale is a centre for many families in Vihiga. A map of the town makes a grounded, personal decoration and a thoughtful present for a graduation, a wedding or a move abroad.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a nearby home village. Then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files for six sizes cost $9, and a free watermarked preview lets you check the design first.
