Mapa
Nancun Map Poster & Print
Nancun is a town in Pingdu, within the Qingdao area of Shandong province. Its map is typical of the wide plains of eastern China. The built-up core is compact, with a network of streets around the main roads, and farmland in large rectangular fields surrounds it. Straight roads and irrigation lines run across the level land in long, regular strokes.
The town has grown as a local centre for industry and trade, and newer industrial and residential blocks have appeared around the older streets. Its position in the Qingdao region links it to one of northern China's main port cities, and major roads pass nearby. The surrounding land remains largely agricultural.
A Nancun map poster is about geometry: the grid of the town, the rectangles of the fields and the long lines of roads. There are no dramatic hills or coastlines, so the drawing becomes calm and orderly, almost like a textile pattern. It suits interiors that favour restraint.

Field patterns
Rectangular plots of farmland cover the plain around the town. Their boundaries create a fine, regular texture across the edges of the map.
Straight regional roads
Long, direct roads cross the level terrain and connect Nancun with nearby towns. They run to the edges of the frame and tie the composition together.
