Mapa
Neu Wulmstorf Map Poster & Print
Neu Wulmstorf lies in the district of Harburg in Lower Saxony, directly on the southwestern border of the city of Hamburg. From above, its residential streets fill the space between the flat marshland toward the Elbe in the north and the wooded Harburg hills in the south. A federal road and the railway line to Stade cross the municipality from east to west.
The municipality grew rapidly in the second half of the twentieth century as families moved out from Hamburg. Much of its map is made up of the curving residential streets and cul-de-sacs typical of that era. The S-Bahn links it closely to the city, and several older village centres belong to the municipality. The fruit-growing area of the Altes Land lies a short distance to the north.
A Neu Wulmstorf map poster presents a place where town, marsh and forest meet. Open ground and woodland frame the dense suburban pattern at the centre, and the long lines of road and rail give the composition a clear horizontal structure. It is a fitting print for residents and anyone who knows the edge of Hamburg well.

Suburban street loops
Much of the town consists of curving streets and small loops from postwar housing growth. They create a fine, rounded texture on the map.
Marsh and hills
Flat, open marshland to the north and the wooded Harburg hills to the south frame the built-up area. They give the design contrasting open spaces on either side.
