Delta waterways
Creeks and channels wind across the flat land, dividing the settlement into irregular sections. They are the most striking natural lines on the map.

Mapa
Nyaung Map Poster & Print
Nyaung lies in Yangon Region in southern Myanmar, west of the centre of Yangon, on the flat plain of the Irrawaddy delta. The landscape is almost level, and water shapes the map. Creeks and drainage channels thread through the area, and settlements line the roads and waterways rather than forming a single compact centre.
From above, the pattern is a mix of dense clusters of houses, roads linking them to the wider city, and open plots of paddy land and wet ground in between. Yangon's growth has pushed urban development into areas like this in recent decades. On the map, older village patterns and newer, more regular streets appear side by side.
A Nyaung map poster captures the edge of a large city, where streets and fields still share the same ground. Because the area is not widely documented in English, the print keeps to what the map itself shows. It is a meaningful keepsake for families from the Yangon area, especially those now living abroad.

Roadside settlement
Houses and streets gather along the main roads and waterways, forming long clusters rather than a single dense centre.
Open paddy land
Areas of farmland and wet ground between the built-up clusters leave broad empty spaces that give the composition room and balance.

Zašto Nyaung
Mapa koja nešto znači
A detailed map of a home neighbourhood can mean more than any photograph, especially for people who left Myanmar and cannot easily return. The print records the place as it looks on the ground: streets, water and fields.
Personalise the title with the spelling your family uses, add a village name or date in the subtitle, and keep the coordinates. Choose from five styles. Paper suits the soft delta landscape. A free watermarked preview lets you check the area before buying.
