Radiating roads
Main routes leave the centre in several directions, toward other towns in the region and the border crossings, and the map's structure follows them like the spokes of an irregular wheel.

Nzérékoré Map Poster & Print
Nzérékoré is the main city of Guinée Forestière, the humid, hilly south-east of Guinea close to the borders with Liberia and Côte d'Ivoire. On a map the town has an organic form: a denser central area of markets and administrative buildings, and neighbourhoods that spread along roads and follow the rolling terrain rather than a strict grid. Green space and small watercourses break up the edges.
It is one of the largest cities in Guinea and a trading centre for the whole forest region, where goods from surrounding farms, and from across the nearby borders, pass through its markets. The country around it is known for forests and uplands, including the Mount Nimba range not far to the south-east, a UNESCO World Heritage site shared with Côte d'Ivoire.
A Nzérékoré map poster renders the city as a web of roads radiating from its centre, with the texture of irregular blocks fading into open land. It is not a monumental plan, and that is its appeal: a portrait of a place shaped by terrain, trade and the routes that connect it to the rest of West Africa.

Market centre
The busiest part of the city forms a tight core of short streets and closely packed blocks, the densest patch of line work on the poster.
Rolling edges
Toward the outskirts, streets bend with the hills and thin out into farmland and forest, so the city dissolves gradually instead of ending at a hard boundary.
