Edge of Kolhapur
The northern side of the map merges into Kolhapur's street network. The line between the two is hard to spot, and that blur is part of the story the poster tells.

Pachgaon Map Poster & Print
Pachgaon lies on the southern edge of Kolhapur in southwestern Maharashtra, where the city starts to loosen into the countryside. From above, the street pattern tells that story plainly. Near the city side the lanes are packed tightly together. Further out they open into longer roads that run between fields, with newer housing colonies filling in the gaps.
This part of Maharashtra is farming country, and Kolhapur district is widely known for sugarcane and jaggery. The Sahyadri ranges rise to the west, so the landscape around Pachgaon has a gentle slope. Water, soil and roads all follow that fall of the land. The settlement's shape reflects slow growth, with each new cluster added onto what was there before.
A Pachgaon map poster captures a place in the middle of change. The dense core, the radiating roads and the scattered blocks at the rim read like a record of a village being absorbed into a city. In black and white, the uneven edge where the pattern breaks up is as interesting as the centre.

Field roads
Longer, straighter roads run out toward the surrounding farmland. They give the lower half of the composition an open, airy rhythm compared with the dense lanes near the centre.
Newer colonies
Planned housing clusters sit apart from the older settlement. Each shows up as a small, regular patch of streets set within the looser rural pattern around it.

Zašto Pachgaon
Mapa koja nešto znači
For families with roots in Kolhapur district, a map of Pachgaon is a quiet reminder of home. It shows the lanes and the edge of the fields rather than a postcard view. It suits someone who has moved to Pune, Mumbai or abroad and wants the familiar layout on the wall.
Add a title in English or Marathi transliteration, a subtitle with a family name, and a date such as a wedding or a housewarming. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand gives it a warm, earthy tone.
