Narrow isthmus
A thin strip of land links the island's two halves. This waist is the most recognisable feature of Pagan's outline.

Mapa
Pagan Map Poster & Print
Pagan is in the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific. Its outline is distinctive. A larger volcanic body in the north and a smaller one in the south are connected by a thin neck of land. There are no towns and there is almost no road network, so the silhouette is the whole map.
Mount Pagan in the northern part of the island is an active volcano. A major eruption in 1981 led to the evacuation of the island's residents, and Pagan has had no permanent population for most of the time since. Its future use has been discussed for years, but it remains remote and largely empty.
A Pagan Island map poster has a strong silhouette. The two lobes and the narrow waist give the design balance, and the surrounding ocean leaves the island plenty of space. It suits anyone with a connection to the Marianas or an interest in volcanic islands.

Northern volcano
The larger northern mass is built around Mount Pagan, whose 1981 eruption led to the evacuation of the island's population.
Empty interior
With almost no roads or settlements, the map relies on the coastline alone. The result is a bold, graphic shape on open water.

Zašto Pagan
Mapa koja nešto znači
For families from the Northern Marianas, Pagan may be a home that is now hard to reach. For others it is a striking volcanic form. Either way, the outline carries meaning without needing more detail.
