Dense street pattern
Rows of small plots form a fine, even texture across the township. On paper it becomes the most detailed part of the composition.

Mapa
Praktiseer Map Poster & Print
Praktiseer is a township in Limpopo province, close to Burgersfort, in a part of the country known for its mountainous terrain and platinum mining along the eastern side of the Bushveld Complex. On a map, the township appears as a dense, closely spaced street pattern set in a valley, with open slopes rising on the surrounding land.
The street layout is largely regular, with small plots laid out in rows. Main roads link the township with Burgersfort and the wider district, and they cut through the settlement as firmer lines. Beyond the edge of the houses, the land opens into bush and hills with only scattered tracks crossing it.
A Praktiseer map poster shows the contrast between a tightly built community and the wide, rugged landscape around it. The dense grid forms a strong textured area in the centre of the print, while the open ground around it gives the composition space and a sense of scale.
