Mapa
Riesa Map Poster
Riesa lies on the Elbe in Saxony, between Dresden and Torgau. The river curves along the town's edge, and on a map it is the dominant feature, a wide, smooth band with the bridge crossings and port basins cut into the bank. The town centre and residential districts extend inland in a mix of older streets and planned post-war blocks.
The town grew as an industrial and transport hub, with river shipping, railways and a long history of steel production. It is also known across Germany for its pasta factory, one of the country's best-known noodle makers. In recent decades Riesa has developed a reputation for hosting sports events in its arena.
A Riesa map poster captures the connection between town and river. The Elbe arcs through the frame, the rail lines and port areas add geometry along its banks, and the streets of the centre fill the space in between with a steady, orderly pattern.

Port and rail
Harbour basins and railway tracks line parts of the waterfront, adding long straight lines and angled shapes beside the natural curve.
River bridges
Road and rail bridges link Riesa with the opposite bank, fine lines crossing the river that tie both halves of the map together.
