Mapa
Rugeley Map Poster & Print
Rugeley lies in Staffordshire on the edge of Cannock Chase, where the heath and woodland of the Chase meet the valley of the River Trent. On the map, the town centre forms a compact cluster of streets, with housing estates extending to the south and west and the Trent running along its northern and eastern edges.
Through the town, the Trent and Mersey Canal follows a smooth, level line, and the railway runs close by. A Rugeley map poster sets these features against the large open expanse of Cannock Chase, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which gives one side of the print a wide, quiet space.
For decades the skyline was dominated by the cooling towers of Rugeley power station, which were demolished in 2021 as the site was prepared for new housing. The town has a long history in mining and energy, now reflected mainly in the shape of its former industrial land.

Cannock Chase edge
Heath and forest stretch away from the town's southern side, leaving a broad, empty area on the map that frames the built-up centre.
River Trent
The river flows past the town's edge through open meadows, adding a soft, meandering line along one side of the composition.
