Santa Teresita lies on the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires Province, part of the string of resort towns in the Partido de la Costa. From above, it is mostly a regular grid of short blocks laid out behind a long sandy shoreline. The streets end at the beach, so the town is framed by an almost perfectly straight edge of sand and water.
The coastline is the strongest line in the composition. On one side sits the dense pattern of holiday houses, shops and small hotels.
