Settūr Map Poster & Print
Settūr is a town in southern Tamil Nadu, set on the plains east of the Western Ghats in the area around Rajapalayam. On a map it appears as a compact settlement where streets gather around a central core and roads lead out toward neighbouring towns and villages. The surrounding land is agricultural, divided into fields that stretch toward the hills.
The defining feature of the wider landscape is the edge of the mountains. To the west the Western Ghats rise steeply from the plain, and on a broader view their slopes form a dark band beside the flat farmland. Between hills and town the ground is marked by irrigation tanks, the shallow reservoirs typical of this part of Tamil Nadu, which appear as open shapes among the fields.
Settūr is small and not widely known outside the region, which is part of its appeal as a map. There is no famous grid or monument to organise the view, only the honest pattern of a working town and its land. A Settūr map poster keeps that pattern intact, making it a personal piece for those who know it.

Irrigation tanks
Shallow reservoirs of the kind common across southern Tamil Nadu dot the farmland. On the map they appear as smooth open areas that break up the pattern of fields and roads.
Western Ghats edge
The mountain range rises to the west of the plain. In a wider view the poster can take in the transition from flat fields to steep, higher ground.
