Causeway links
Bridges and causeways cross the narrow channel to the main island. On the map they look like short straight lines over water, stitching Sitrah to its larger neighbour.

Mapa
Sitrah Map Poster & Print
Sitrah lies just off the eastern coast of Bahrain's main island, south of Manama, across a narrow channel that bridges and causeways cross in several places. From above it is flat and compact. Its outline is softened by shallow tidal water and has been reshaped over the years by land reclaimed along the shore.
The island has long had two sides. Its older villages grew up among date palm gardens watered by freshwater springs, while the twentieth century brought oil storage tanks and an export terminal linked to the country's refining industry. On the map, these installations appear as large regular plots and long jetties reaching out into deeper water.
A Sitrah map poster works because of that contrast. It shows winding village lanes clustered between patches of greenery, straight highways running toward Manama, and the geometric blocks of tanks and quays along the coast. The surrounding sea takes up much of the frame and gives the island a clear, readable silhouette.

Village lanes
The older settlements form dense clusters of short, irregular streets. This fine-grained pattern contrasts with the broad modern roads built around and between them.
Industrial shoreline
Tank farms, jetties and reclaimed plots line parts of the coast, creating crisp rectangles and long piers that stand out sharply against the open sea.

Zašto Sitrah
Mapa koja nešto znači
For families rooted in Sitrah's villages, the island is a specific, well-defined home, and its outline is instantly familiar. A print also suits people who worked in Bahrain's oil sector and want a reminder of the coastline they came to know.
The title and subtitle can carry a village name, a family name or a date, and you can edit the coordinates line too. Choose from five styles; Blueprint and Sand both suit a coastal subject. A free 900 px preview lets you check the layout before you buy.
