Mapa
Steinfurt Map Poster & Print
Steinfurt was formed in 1975 when the towns of Burgsteinfurt and Borghorst were merged, and the map still shows two distinct centres linked across open Münsterland countryside. Each has its own compact core of streets, surrounded by residential districts, farmland and the scattered woods and hedgerows that are typical of this flat corner of northwestern Germany.
Burgsteinfurt grew around Schloss Steinfurt, a water castle set on an island in the river Steinfurter Aa. Next to it lies the Bagno, an eighteenth-century landscape park laid out by the counts of Bentheim-Steinfurt. On a map, the castle's water, the winding river and the park's paths give the town's western side an unusually delicate texture.
A Steinfurt map poster turns this double town into an elegant composition of two clusters, river lines and green space. The contrast between the dense historic cores and the open land between them is especially clear in black and white. It gives the print a sense of space and a story that is easy to read.

Bagno park
The historic landscape park beside Burgsteinfurt adds a network of curving paths and water, a softer counterpoint to the town's streets.
Two town centres
Burgsteinfurt and Borghorst each keep their own compact core. Together they give the map two focal points joined by roads through farmland.

Zašto Steinfurt
Mapa koja nešto znači
Steinfurt is home to long-standing families, students and commuters to Münster, and to people who remember walks through the Bagno. A map poster captures both halves of the town and makes a fitting present for a new home, an anniversary or a farewell.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD digital files cost $9 and include six print sizes, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
