Mapa
Suwanee Map Poster & Print
Suwanee lies in Gwinnett County, northeast of Atlanta, along the Interstate 85 corridor. The map shows two different patterns. Around the railroad, the small historic core of Old Town Suwanee keeps a few short streets from its days as a railway stop. Around it, larger suburban developments spread out in curving roads and cul-de-sacs, with shopping centres and business parks along the interstate.
The town has put much of its effort into public space. Town Center Park, with its lawn and plaza, is the civic heart, surrounded by newer streets and buildings. The Suwanee Creek Greenway and other trails follow the creek through wooded areas, linking parks across the city. For several decades the Atlanta Falcons had their headquarters and training grounds in Suwanee, something many locals still remember.
A Suwanee map poster brings together the old railroad town, the modern town centre and the loops of the suburbs. The creek and greenway corridors add long natural lines that break up the pattern of the subdivisions. It is a tidy, balanced composition that suits a family home, and it tells the story of how the town has grown.
