East Lancashire Road
The A580, one of Britain's earliest inter-city highways, runs through the area as a long, confident line that is unlike the smaller streets around it.

Mapa
Swinton Map Poster & Print
Swinton is a town in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester, a few miles northwest of Manchester city centre. Its map is a dense weave of terraced streets and interwar and postwar housing estates, the pattern of an industrial Lancashire town that grew around coal mining and textiles before merging into the wider conurbation.
The A580 East Lancashire Road, opened in the 1930s as one of Britain's first purpose-built inter-city roads, cuts a straight line through the area. Nearby, the M60 orbital motorway swings around the western side of Manchester, while parks and the town centre break up the dense residential fabric.
A Swinton map poster shows northern English urban texture at its most characteristic: tight rows of houses, a few strong arterial roads, and green spaces tucked between them. It is a map that people from Swinton and Pendlebury will recognise at a glance.

Rows of closely spaced terraced houses form fine, parallel lines in many neighbourhoods, a reminder of the town's industrial Lancashire past.
Motorway interchanges
The M60 and its junctions to the west add large looping shapes that frame the town and tie it into the Manchester motorway network.

Zašto Swinton
Mapa koja nešto znači
Swinton is a place of family ties and long memories, from rugby league on a Sunday to the walk to school. A map of these streets makes a meaningful gift for anyone who grew up here or has moved away from Salford.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be personalised, perhaps with a street name, a wedding date or simply Swinton and Pendlebury. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic suits the terraced texture best.
