Mission downtown
The oldest part of Ventura forms a compact grid around Mission San Buenaventura, close to the coast and the Ventura River. It is the densest area of streets on the map.

Mapa
Ventura Map Poster & Print
Ventura, formally San Buenaventura, stretches along the Pacific coast of Southern California between the Ventura River and the Santa Clara River. Its map is built along the shoreline. A historic downtown sits near the western end, followed by a beachfront promenade and pier, and residential grids spread east across the coastal plain toward the harbour and farmland.
The city grew around Mission San Buenaventura, founded in 1782, and the mission still stands at the heart of the old downtown grid. Behind it the hills rise steeply, and streets wind upward before stopping at open slopes. Ventura Harbor, further down the coast, houses the headquarters of Channel Islands National Park, and its man-made basins give the shoreline a distinctive shape.
A Ventura map poster places land, water and hills in a single composition. The coastline runs as a clean edge, the two river mouths break it with lighter shapes, and the Highway 101 corridor follows the shore. It suits anyone who knows the walk along the pier, the downtown streets or the quieter neighbourhoods up in the hills.

Pier and promenade
The long wooden pier extends straight into the Pacific from the beachfront. It is a thin, precise line that stands out against the open water on the poster.
Ventura Harbor
To the south, a harbour of dredged channels and marinas breaks the natural coastline with geometric basins. It gives this part of the map a distinctly engineered look.

Zašto Ventura
Mapa koja nešto znači
Ventura attracts surfers, families and people who simply want to live by the ocean without the scale of Los Angeles. A map of the city captures the exact line of the coast and the streets leading down to it, a good piece for anyone who has called it home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the coast especially well. Download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper, with or without a wooden frame.
