Mapa
Vinnamāla Map Poster & Print
Vinnamāla lies in southern Andhra Pradesh, inland from the Bay of Bengal and not far from the Tamil Nadu border. It is a place of modest size, and its map is shaped more by the land than by landmarks. Houses and lanes cluster at the centre, surrounded by fields divided by narrow roads and paths that follow property lines and water channels.
This part of the state is low and largely agricultural. Paddy and other crops depend on rainfall and on the small reservoirs, known locally as tanks, that are common across the region. On a map, bodies of water like these appear as irregular shapes among the fields, and the pattern of cultivation gives the surroundings a fine, patchwork texture.
A Vinnamāla map poster is a quiet, detailed image: a small core with no grand avenues, set in a wide agricultural frame. It suits people with a family connection to the place who now live in Tirupati, Chennai, Hyderabad or abroad, and who want something personal on the wall instead of a generic city skyline.

Field roads
Narrow roads and paths run out from the centre into the farmland. They divide it into irregular plots that give the poster its delicate outer texture.
Plains setting
The land around the settlement is flat and open, typical of the coastal plains of southern Andhra Pradesh. This leaves clear space around the settlement on the print.
