Mapa
Worcester Park Map Poster & Print
Worcester Park is a suburb in southwest London, straddling the boundary between the boroughs of Sutton and Kingston upon Thames, with Surrey close to the south. Its map is mostly made up of residential streets laid out in the early twentieth century, many of them lined with semi-detached houses.
The railway runs through the area, with Worcester Park station close to the local high street, and Central Road forms the main shopping street. Beverley Brook flows through the district in a narrow green corridor, and open spaces such as Nonsuch Park lie a short distance away.
The novelist H. G. Wells lived in Worcester Park in the 1890s, a period when the area was still on the edge of the countryside. A Worcester Park map poster shows a typical outer-London suburb in detail: a regular pattern of streets, a railway line and the soft green lines of parks and a brook.
