River through centre
A river crosses the basin and shapes the city around it, with the densest streets on its banks and bridges tying the two sides of the urban area together.

Mapa
Xingning Map Poster & Print
Xingning is a county-level city in the Meizhou area of eastern Guangdong, part of the region widely regarded as a heartland of Hakka culture. From above it sits in a basin ringed by low hills, with farmland and villages spreading across the valley floor and the urban area concentrated along the river that runs through it.
The city's street pattern responds to that setting. Near the river, roads run in fairly regular blocks, while further out they loosen and follow the edges of fields and slopes. Bridges connect the two banks, and the transition from dense centre to scattered settlement is gradual, giving the map a soft outer edge rather than a hard boundary.
A Xingning map poster works well for people with family roots in the area, since the Hakka diaspora carries many ties back to this part of Guangdong. The design focuses on the essentials: the river, the central grid, the bridges and the hills that frame them, rendered in clean lines that make an unfamiliar place easy to read.

Encircling hills
Low hills rise around the basin, and on the map they appear as quiet open space where the road network thins and gives way to winding rural routes.
Valley farmland edges
Beyond the centre, streets gradually dissolve into a pattern of village roads and field boundaries, showing how closely the city is tied to the agricultural valley around it.

Zašto Xingning
Mapa koja nešto znači
For many people whose families trace their lineage to Hakka communities in eastern Guangdong, Xingning is a place of origin rather than a destination. A map poster offers a way to keep that connection visible at home, far from the basin itself.
Personalise the title with a family name or the city in Chinese characters, add a subtitle and coordinates, and select Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper gives the valley a warm, archival look suited to a family history.
